Who are we?

Assin Jakai is a new sustainable fashion label with a twist. It is also a platform that allows individuals to showcase their talents with the world. Music, art and sport just to name a few of the talents on display.

People are wonderfully complicated and we want to bring everyone closer together through exploring different cultures.

Sustainable Fashion

This is our take on fashion. We are a brand that is people/talent centered. We want to inspire others but it is important that our clothing is ethically made.

Examples of ways we seek to do this includes the following:

  • 100% of our clothing is organic, recycled, and sustainable, whilst ensuring high quality clothing.
  • Our Labels are premium recycled woven labels.
  • Our packaging is dissolvable in hot water, compostable or recyclable.
  • Ethical. We work with reputable sustainable fashion suppliers to ensure our items meet the relevant sustainability certifications.

Our 5% Commitment 

We want to make an impact. Our commitment is donating 5% of the maximum potential profit from each drop of clothing to our chosen charities. Every time we restock, we make a donation. These are causes that mean something to us personally.

Our charities for Season 1 are: 

Trinity Baptist Hope Centre: 

Hope Centre, an initiative of Trinity Baptist Church, is a centre for orphans, the underprivileged and disadvantaged children in Ayensudu near Elmina in the Central Region in Ghana, West Africa. The project began in August 2008.
The vision of Hope Centre is to provide a home, family life, quality education and emotional and pastoral support for these children, who through no fault of theirs find themselves in difficult situations.
